HIKING

The Dunne Za Lodge is situated in a secluded area where four-legged visitors may occasionally wander through, so please remain mindful of your surroundings. Nearby, you'll find small hiking trails, including a challenging ascent on a hill to the north. We are just 1.5 hours from Tumbler Ridge, famous worldwide for its breathtaking hiking trails.  Alltrails.com

FISHING

Moberly Lake has many popular species to catch including Northern Pike, Burbot and Lake Whitefish.  There is Lake Trout but is protected as it has a declining population.  Please see BC's 2023-25 Fresh water Fishing Regulations  for more information - link below.

Fishing Gear Rental is here!

We have fishing poles, some tackle and nets available, for those who may have forgotten to pack their own gear or for anyone who’d like to give fishing a try!

KAYAKING

The west end of the lake can be quite shallow and lovely to paddle.  It is home to various birds including swans, loons and Canadian geese.  Moberly is in a valley so please paddle with caution as the winds can cause wavy waters.  We currently have 5 adult kayaks  and 3 canoes available if you would like to go for a paddle. Contact the lodge for prices.
