We want to hear from you
As Dunne Za Lodge begins its new journey, we invite you to share what kinds of events, courses, or meetings you would be interested in attending in or around the lodge!
HIKING
The Dunne Za Lodge is nestled in a secluded area where four-legged visitors may wander onto the property from time to time, so please remain mindful of your surroundings. Nearby, you'll find small hiking trails, including a challenging ascent to the hill to the north. Chetwynd lies just 30 minutes to the south, offering lovely trails, while Tumbler Ridge, famous for its exceptional hiking, is only 1.5 hours away. Additionally, Hudson's Hope is a quick 30-minute drive north and boasts a variety of fantastic outdoor activities!
CLASSES
Is there a particular subject you’re eager to explore or learn more about? Feel free to call or email us, and we'll do our best to arrange something for you! The Dunne Za Lodge aims to collaborate with different businesses and societies to offer a diverse range of courses, talks, and events in the area! Stay tuned for updates!
Also, don't miss out on local events such as:
FISHING
Moberly Lake offers a variety of sought-after species to catch, such as Northern Pike, Burbot, and Lake Whitefish. Although Lake Trout is present, it is a protected species due to its declining population. For more details, please refer to the link for BC's 2023-2025 Freshwater Fishing Regulations.
KAYAKING
The western end of the lake offers a delightful, shallow area perfect for paddling. It's a sanctuary for a variety of birds, including swans, loons, and Canadian geese. Since Moberly lies in a valley, it's important to paddle with care, as the winds can create choppy waters. Currently, we have 2-4 adult kayaks and a canoe available if you're interested in exploring the water.

As we get our feet off the ground, stay tuned for more exciting activities at the lodge!
